Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. When she turned 16, Alexandra had landed prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. The audience was impressed by her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra's work has led her to work on a number of significant national and international productions.
